Parents, did you know that your child’s schoolwork could be exposing them to ads for alcohol, gambling, guns, vapes, and even pornography? It’s happening right here in Colorado. Big tech companies are embedding ads in educational platforms, taking advantage of students when they’re most vulnerable—while learning in a classroom.

This is unacceptable. Our kids deserve to be educated, not exploited. That’s why I’m fighting for HB25-1158: Digital Education Materials —a commonsense bill that:

✅ Bans harmful advertising in school resources.

✅ Holds vendors accountable for content in digital tools.

✅ Protects teachers and schools from liability.

✅ Ensures taxpayers aren’t funding this exploitation.
